Karolina Iwańska is a lawyer working at the intersection of human rights and technology. She is a Digital Civic Space Advisor at the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law - a non-governmental organization based in the Hague, Netherlands working on empowering civil society through creating enabling legal and policy frameworks. Previously she worked at Warsaw-based Panoptykon Foundation where she was involved in GDPR litigation related to online advertising and in advocacy on EU digital policy files, including the ePrivacy regulation, the Digital Services Act and the AI Act. In 2019/20 she was a Mozilla EU Tech Policy fellow working on regulatory frameworks for privacy-friendly advertising. She hold a masters in law from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
